UEI Launches the New TBH300 Smart Thermostat with CommScope’s RUCKUS IoT Suite in Support of Hospitality Green Energy Initiatives

SCOTTSDALE, AZ, July 11, 2022—Universal Electronics Inc. (UEI) (NASDAQ: UEIC), the global leader in wireless universal control solutions for home entertainment and smart home devices announced it has launched the new UEI TBH300 Smart Thermostat.

Integration with CommScope’s RUCKUS reflects Ruckus Network’s commitment to integrate with partners focused on green energy initiatives, such as UEI’s Energy Management Solution, within UEI’s building network installation ecosystem. The UEI-connected thermostat is a full end-to-end solution with available sensors that can be integrated within the RUCKUS® wireless gateway with Zigbee® technology, and available to provide customers with an energy-saving solution that works out of the gate. Upon installation, it provides remote management capabilities to monitor and control energy systems even while away.

The new UEI TBH300 thermostat leads with a sustainable energy feature that enables property managers or hoteliers to save money and energy on occupied units and rooms. The thermostat is managed through the RUCKUS IoT suite for hospitality, which enables both temperature controls and streamlined installations. The versatile Zigbee thermostat has a simple integration into property management systems either off- or online via the RUCKUS IoT Suite enabling faster and simpler installation for technicians. With it, hoteliers can apply controls to temperature settings during check-in or check-out, enhancing guests’ welcome experience with comfortable room settings, while contributing to energy efficiency and cost savings.
