Universal Electronics participates in CASBAA ’09 panel discussion on cable and satellite technology in Asia

As one of the fastest growing subscription broadcast regions in the world, Asia continues to be a focus for business growth at Universal Electronics. As in other regions of the world, trade associations in Asia play a vital role in shaping industry trends and helping drive technology and business decisions in the future.
Marcel Hilbrink, Senior Director of Business Development at Universal Electronics, participated in a panel discussion on November 5th in Hong Kong on technology and the consumer experience with other key members of our industry. Marcel was joined on the panel by several key players in the industry: Ross Pollack, Chief Executive Officer, Celestial Pictures, Hong Kong; George Tupy, Director, Video Solutions, Cisco Systems; Rob Gilby, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Disney-ABC International Television (AP), Hong Kong; Gregg Daffner, President, G3 Global Communications; Rajesh Sawhney, President, Reliance BIG Entertainment, India. The panel was moderated by Peter Jackson, CEO, Asia Satellite Telecommunications.
